MPC HARRIER, not a toy
not a beginners kit, too many moving parts, for the expert only..has little or no cockpit detail and some the worst instructions ever AND make sure you get replacement decals, takes a lot of time, but builds into beautiful very large model..is not a toy!

Maybe the best model kit ever designed!
Just sealed the decals (which are about 45 years old) and while I wait for them to dry, so I can weather this masterpiece, I'd thought I would detail why I think this is one the best kits I've ever built..it's just amazing for it's time! Released in 1977, it contains recessed panel lines and rivets..fantastic detail and in all the right places!..and no injector marks or pins, no sink holes or flash! There are 20 detailed pieces making up the cockpit and 14 making up the engine! The kit includes markings for 4 different planes and the 2 piece canopy is crystal clear and all that beautiful detail hidden away, never to be seen again..well the fit is so perfect you can snap it apart, show it off, then snap it back together again..let's see a Revell or Airfix do that! I went on ebay and bought all this company's (NICHIMO) ww2 kits and they all appear FANTASTIC!! Oh and they all come with a free tube of glue!
