Great chess clock for playing with kids

For what this clock costs, it's great. My kid and I both smack the lever down with the pieces we take and it does fine. It's easy to adjust and the flag falls like it should. The levers don't have a very smooth action, but that's OK. You can stop it halfway down on both sides so neither clock ticks for "timeout" to discuss the move. The second hand ticks so you can verify which side is losing time. No winding necessary--it takes 1 AA battery. I've used it for maybe 6 hours so far, anticipate many more, and am happy I bought it. It's durable, and I don't have to worry about my 8 year old carrying around my $100 "good" chess clock.

Works as advertised

OEM Dell battery. Does not have the "press to see 5 lights" charge meter built in but holds a charge great. Previous Dell battery showed "full charge" on its meter but my laptop just turned off after a couple minutes with this battery.

Great for my first grader; he says they're real.

I bought these more or less as a test; I was willing to consider the money gone if they were terrible. They are actually quite good. I gave them to my 7 year old and said "they might be real, they might be fake, I'm not sure" and his diagnosis after comparing to his other cards is these are real. None of his school friends have questioned them either. Can an adult tell when looking closely? Sure, but they still look good and are definitely closer than I expected for the money.
