Doesn't spin well

I thought this was the perfect toy for my son who loves both Bakugan and Beyblades- a Bakugan that you could "Let it rip!". However, the Bakugan doesn't spin very well, if at all, after pulling the cord. You still can you it battle. Glad I only bought one of these!

Solid case

Haven't opened yet since it's a bday present but it feels sturdy. Definitely more solid than the bags I've previously purchased to store the Skylanders.
