This is the first one I purchased that I didn’t have to sand down the 48” long 7/8” dowel to insert.
I was able to put in 46” of it, I always put a dowel in them because they are sturdier and won’t bend in very windy conditions. This is the fourth one and two have been in use for many years.
I recommend this system with this flag poles with swivel 360 degree mounting rings.
