Once initially set up, great smoker!
Hesitant to purchase after reading reviews. Unit arrived with no damage, packaged well. No assembly required, just wash everything down and install racks, smoker box, water pan & drip tray. Initially tried to set up on a Sunday afternoon.... this was a mistake as Char-Broil customer service was open, but tech service was not. Set up went well until trying to use the first time. Software downloaded to phone and everything went good, just could not get to proper screen on phone to begin seasoning of smoker. After searching the web and contacting Char-Broil customer service, I found the solution on Char-Broil's web site. All I had to do was "swipe down" on my phone screen to refresh the screen and everything was fine! I wish the instructions provided would have been a little more clear and set up would have been a breeze. I have used the smoker several times and am VERY PLEASED with the results! This smoker produces plenty of smoke to achieve great results. Being able to monitor food while doing other things or running errands is beyond words... I love it. Smoked and reverse seared steaks came out AMAZING! Smoked salmon is excellent as well. I would highly recommend this product!
