Put a lid on it.
Had to replace some of those disappearing lids. These are great replacements.

Good at 20v as it was at 18v....
Had an 18v version for some years and liked it and had no issues with it. Never used it for wet pickup but it was great dry. Figured if the 20 v looked essentially like the 18v it would work as well. And it does.

Absolute necessity
Needed to R&R lower unit prop shaft assembly to replace seals. Early 40hp motors use a 3" or so plastic nut to hold this assembly in the lower unit and the nut is turned using a cylindrical socket with six lugs to engage lugs on the plastic not. To get the unit apart, I cobbled a wrench out of pipe and some pieces of metal but to put on the new nut, the wrench had to be accurate as the nut has to be torqued to 100 ft lbs and the plastic nut will break if not driven on all six lugs. Had to buy the correct wrench. The wrench I purchased was factory perfect. Worked like a dream. Always figured the cost of the tool is paid for by doing the job myself. This was a good transaction, done quickly with no hiccups.
