outstanding!
i was in the Navy 1966-1972, lost my copy of Bluejackets manual that I had been given in Boot Camp. Read Boot Camp copy cover to cover. This one Brings back a lot of good memories. Enjoyed my time in Navy very much.

I was in the Navy from 1966 to 1972 and a member of VS-35. I worked on these aircraft for over three years. We were part of the air group aboard the USS Hornet CVS-12. We deployed to Vietnam from September 1968 to May 1969 (Yankee Station in the Tonkin Gulf off of North Vietnam).

I was in the Navy. 1966-1972. I too was a member of VS-35, deployed on the USS Hornet. I worked as a mechanic on the very same aircraft. Our WESPAC to Vietnam was 1968-1969 and we stopped in many of the same ports as he writes about in his book. Love the pictures as they bring back many personal memories to me.
