A double bill but only one was worth the ticket price
To be honest I was only after the second movie "A reason to live" - a spaghetti western with James Coburn and Telly Savalas and of couse Bud Spencer. It was an enjoyable action adventure movie and great fun.

Well worth a punt
I missed these the first time round. The world building is amazing as are the characters and situations they find themselves in. I am struck as to how similar it feels to the Stephen Erickson "Malazan" series. Very densely plotted with very memorable characters. The main characters change from book to book. So basically a series of stand alone novels based in the same world, that way it never feels tired or burned out as some longer series of books eventually do.
