I have always believed that strangers are just friends you have not yet met. I love meeting new people, going new places and trying new foods and customs. I can study maps for hours and love watching the travel channel and PBS travel specials.

GREAT GRADUATION OR WEDDING PRESENT
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I read this book several years ago as well as listening to Dave on the radio. We are debt-free and are making it our mission to help young people not get into debt early in life and/or marriage. We give his book for graduation and wedding presents all the time.

This book should be required reading for teachers
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This was one of the hardest books to read I ever encountered. I could not believe that teachers or family did not come to this boy's aid. Future and current teachers and social workers should be required to read this so that hopefully they will be more aware of the signs of abuse. No child should ever have to endure what this one did.

Inspiring story about a devoted young lady
This book was recommended to me by two different individuals so I ordered it and read it. The dedication of one so young to a group of children is incredible, Maybe the fact that she was so young and naïve is the reason it worked out so well for her as she did not know about "impossible" yet.
The fact that her charitable agency is still at work and thriving while educating and feeding the children of Uganda is the real credit to her ability and availability.
In this era of spoiled and privileged young people who continually want more and more in abundance and instant gratification her sacrificial life is outstanding.
This would be a great graduation gift for graduates on your list.
