Worked until it didn’t
This was a replacement lid for the original that finally broke in half after decades of use. Unfortunately, after having it for only two weeks, it slipped out of my hands while drying it, and it landed on the kitchen mat below, near my feet. I can’t tell you what a crazy experience that was, because you’d have to be there. But honestly it EXPLODED everywhere. We are still finding pieces of glass in the kitchen, dining room and nearby laundry room. It literally exploded into a gazillion tiny shards of glass! Not tiny cubes like impact glass or break in half like typical Pyrex. This was horrific. I’ve dropped many glasses and dinnerware in my day, but it’s never shattered like this. If you buy it, beware and be super super careful! The shards are thin and long and sharp and they will cut you!

Thought it would be awesome
I’ve owned this for exactly 1 year. The RED is now PINK. Would be ok for some, but not us. Thought it would last for a long time. Nope
