Satisfactory only
This product is satisfactory for my purposes, but in my opinion is not worth a penny more than the asking price.
It comes very well packaged.
When the screen was first deployed there was a very strong smell of chemicals. Quite overwhelming. After a few days of airing the smell has reduced significantly and is now acceptable.
I bought this to replace a manual pull down (2nd hand) screen which had a buckle running through it. This would manifest in a ripple effect during cinematic panning shots. So I was a little bit cheesed off to see that this screen is not perfectly flat. There are some minor contours at the edges. However they are peripheral and as such do not affect the picture.
Upon VERY close inspection I could see that the grey colouring had a very minor fade in the bottom left corner, but not significantly so. I ask the question was the application of the grey screen not completely dry before it was wound up at the factory and is it the source of the smell?
The main point of irritation is the control unit mounted on the fly lead. It is moulded and sealed with a set length of cable. Presumably any lengthening or shortening of it will invalidate the warranty. The set length severely restricts the mounting position and it looks very ugly dangling down the wall. As an electrician I shall be altering it when the warranty period has expired.
Having said all that it is a cheap screen at a cheap price and I hugely enjoyed watching my first movie on it.

Powerful, Petite and Sexy.
Very sexy pair of speakers. Clearly a lot of love and care has gone into the design.
Although they are small bookshelf speakers they pack a surprising amount of punch for their size. They have a beautiful tactile finish too (ours are bamboo). For me however the principal selling point is the simplicity. Once they are set up there is just the volume knob and that's it. (Intended for use with computers the balance and tone et.c can be handled from the source.) We use it directly off a DVD/CD player and hear the tone and balance as the artist intended. I am not an audiophile so I cannot judge the finer points of audio reproduction, but as a jazz musician they sound good to me.
One incy winy tiny issue. They occasionally pop due to some sort of as yet unidentified interference. Possibly a voltage spike. But we don't find this to be intrusive.
You won't be disappointed.
