Handy set of tools
This is a solid ferro rod, unlike some cheaper one's on ebay that have a small ferro insert implanted on one side of a round "dummy" rod. Good quality rod, striker, and whistle.

Cold Steel fit
I soaked this sheath in hot water and let it dry on my Cold Steel Hudson Bay style Axe, then treated with oil. It worked just fine.
