Nostalgia still hits the mark!
I remember seeing the original show live and thought it was great! However, I don't think I really understood the "story line" all that well. After watching this disc, with Jean Butler narrating the different segments, I finally understood what was going on. She really pulled it together. The dancing and singing were exactly as I remember them in the live performance. Now, in certain segments, they combined/edited two or more performances (at different locations around the world) together showing different lead dancers doing the same steps. At first it was a bit confusing, but after a while I didn't mind it. I was still amazed by the choreography and execution of the very complicated steps by such gifted dancers!
