Phonetone Booster Works Well In Remote Area
I was pleased that this item arrived from China much more quickly than I expected. We used this 2 frequency Phonetone booster on an application in a remote mountain area in Wyoming with poor cell phone reception. It works very well with the small antenna provided, although I am going to attach it to a directional antenna. This one uses DC power and is designed for a car. I chose it because we have no AC power in that location, so I needed something that I could attach to a deep cycle 12V battery which gets recharged by a solar panel. The setup has worked very well so far, after 3 days of use. We have gotten a large amount of gain and boost from this signal booster. The reception has gone from marginal or none to good. We have gone from no service to 3-4 bars on 1X and 3G. One drawback is that it works best if you hold the inside antenna on the back of your phone. We would like to have an antenna that would cover a whole room and make calling possible without having to be so close to the inside antenna, but maybe that will come with the directional antenna connected on the other side. I am hoping for dependable service for a long time. This is a pretty inexpensive kit for an application like this. Be sure and check your area for what frequencies are needed. This unit is 800 and 1900 megahertz, which will let you receive 1X and up to 3G, but not 4G, as 4G requires up to 5 frequencies.

Motorola Rokr Z6m
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This phone works well at a reasonable price. It has all of the features that my daughter wanted. She enjoys all of the regular features, plus the mp3 player. The slightly used Rokr that I picked up on Ebay has been great so far. No problems with the local Altel network.
