Historical account reads like a well written novel!
This historical account provides great detail on an apparently little known event, however with the outcome so important during the latter stages of WW II as the Allies were pushing their way into Germany. My father was a combat medic present during the Normandy invasion and later during the push through France and thereafter Germany. He would relate some of his experiences with the Rangers and how they appreciated the highly valued contributions of combat medics on the front lines there.
