ATTENTION! The book mostly deals with music acoustics and not so much technical acoustics or building acoustics
The book the Science of Sound 3rd edition Rossing Moore & Wheeler
is a thick book with many pages (780 pages)
The book was bought in used condition on ebay
The book I bought contained a lot of notes from previous readers/students
but it doesn't do much
If you look at the content of the book, it is mostly directed towards
music acoustics and not so much towards technical acoustics and building acoustics
which I personally would have liked more of.
In the book, some formulas are presented that can be used when calculating acoustic phenomena
But many of these formulas are presented without showing how they were arrived at
which in many cases may be desirable
When it comes to practice examples, half of these solutions are missing. Solutions are only given to every other task
I have also discovered some minor bugs and errors in calculations in the solved examples
Today I have had the book for about 2-3 weeks
This is the 3rd edition of the book, these bugs should not remain

The Zoom F4 inputs are high class
Zoom F4 is in absolutely the same class / league as Sound Devices
The microphone inputs (XLR) on the F4 have a low noise level and are of a high class
The headphone output easily drives a pair of Beierdynamic DT 990 pro
The LCD display is monochrome, which works well in bright sunlight
So here there is hardly anything to complain about
Maybe the routing (menu) is too complicated to understand.

Ols Shure mixer absolutely in the same liga /division as Suond Devices
State of the art for iits time. Robust absolutely in the same
class as Sound Devices if not bettre.
