Great contextual resource
The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible was recommended by a friend. I got it for my husband as a gift, thinking that if he didn't like it, I probably would, so it was a safe bet. My husband won't put it down! He loves how it provides information on all the details that give significance to the scripture based on the context of the culture. He says, "It's an awesome resource to immerse yourself in 1st century culture and is very helpful to see the world that the Bible was written in." I can't wait to read it too!
