To get this to work on Linux around 2024-09, you have to blacklist the btusb kernel module, which initially tries to initialize the device, but fails, and ruins the wifi initialization as well. Some distributions have done this for you, but if the stick doesn't work on Linux when you plug it in, try this. Faster than the previous 802.11ac Alfa I had.

Top of the line Intel GbE cards for next to nothing
It's incredible how cheap these top-quality Intel quad-port GigE adapters have become with the advent of 10GbE. As new, these were top of the line products, and as used, I expect them to last me a decade. This card fit well into my HP t620 Plus thin client.
