Back when things made sense

I got this CD because I listened to the 78s of "Call Me Mister" a long time ago. The songs are still terrific, and the sound surprisingly clear and, dare I say, better than the records. Some of the songs are funny, some serious. They have stuck in my head after decades. "This Is The Army" is sort of new to me, but well worth owning, since the songs are good and it's got Irving Berlin. Definitely delighted to have "Call Me Mister" after all these years.

Great cast elevate this movie with superb performances. Highly recommended.

One of the best movies I've seen this year. Emotional and beautifully played. Great cast. I really enjoyed it and will watch it again, most certainly.

Smooth, classic Mica

Mica covers songs that mean something to her, and doubtless to many others. She avoids gimmicks, understanding that these songs are classics for a reason. I'd say my favourite is "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted," though maybe that's because I love the song. However, the worst thing is when someone ruins a great song. On this album, Mica sounds like Mica and the music sounds great. She looks amazing, too, but that didn't influence my recommendation. Mica is a treasure and this will enhance any CD collection.
