TV is working again!
Replacing all the parts is a bit of a chore, but the kit is comprehensive and the TV works now! The only thing I would have liked to have seen included is a small tube of heat sink paste. The IC's on my board were glued down, I lifted each leg and only then pryed up with a scalpel. Overall well worth the cost and effort.

Manufacturer changed, new product is not as nice.
I ordered a pair of these floorboards, received two that were made by different manufacturers. One has black rivets, satin finish paint, and looks to be of good quality. The other has chrome rivets that are painted black on the top only, poor quality semi-gloss paint with runs and nicks, and seems to be made from a different mold. I was quickly shipped a replacement, but it was another of the poor quality variant. The indication is that this is the current inventory so it’s probably what you will get.

Useful little speaker
I use this speaker in a laboratory to test underwater transducers. It produces a reasonably clean sine wave with low distortion from 500Hz. and up. Other scientists have inquired about this transducer and have expressed delight about its low cost and functionality.
