The anime drew me to this classic manga.
The amazing anime drew me to this incredible manga. This edition is one of my first acquisitions as I build a library of the remaining books. The visual art & dialog convey the story with emotional energy that is difficult to achieve in a purely literary way. Not to say the story could not be improved with a prose effort, but this manga is satisfying and engaging to the point that I was able to connect with it with a considerably high level of emotional investment.

Cannot press it onto the timer shaft
I am unable to press the knob onto the timer shaft. There is excessive resistance and I will not take the risk of damaging the timer. I will request a return and refund and seek out a genuine Sears Kenmore replacement knob.

Brilliantly conceived anime.
Brilliantly conceived anime that has a fantastic English dub cast, deeply entertaining and engaging plot/drama, wonderful animation art, and characters with whom it is easy to find another emotional connection. However, it's definitely not for mecha animation fans.
