Ideal for points control on model railway control panels
These switches provide momentary action which is ideal for controlling devices, like solenoid point motors that need short bursts of power. I use them on my model railway control panels to operate points and signals, they are perfect alternative to the Hornby / Peco passing contact switches if you want to align switches with points on a panel graphic, rather than have banks of switches. They need mounting on a board / panel, but they are easy to use, great to operate and very reliable.

Nice models, but nowhere near to scale
Nice little models that look great, BUT they are out of scale. Sold to me as 1:76, I was hoping they would be compatible with OO/HO model railway. My guess is they are somewhere nearer 1:60, certainly they dwarf Oxford Diecast cars and vans of similar vintage fr the 1:76 range. I wanted them to populate the goods yard of my LNER railway, but sadly they stand out like elephants among the more accurately scaled vehicles. So, if you stick to LLedo / Corgi and don't mix and match with properly scaled vehicles, or you don't care about scale, or you just play cars then they are great. Mine will be a Christmas present or go back to eBay.

Very powerful, easy to install and operate, does an excellent job - wish I'd had this from the start!
This delivers real oomph! I found it more reliable than the standard Gauge Master (two cylinder model) at moving some of the more problematic / stiffer points I've got round the layout and it moves combinations of 2 and 4 points in crossover arrangements with ease. Mine currently covers 20 sets of points (mix of Hornby surface, and under board solenoid and seep from Hornby, peco and Gaage Master) and re-charges fast enough for me to work them all seamlessly.
I've found its power overcomes pretty much anything, and I can spend way less time trying to settle points evenly, fiddling with motor alignment and messing about trying to make movement / throw smooth - . as long as motor movement is enough to move points fully, they all just boot across on command, pretty much first time. Back light is helpful to let you know it is charged up too. Easy to connect and mount. So far, loving it.
