Reminds you of the 1920s - 1930s.
Clean and basic design...not trying to be a clone of anything more costly or trendy. Simply a good timepiece that harkens back to other times. And it still draws comments.

A watch with presence at a small purchase price.
Understated, clean design and execution but it makes a statement. Truly a "Big" dial edged by a thin bezel. Looks better than some far more expensive watches. If it is assembled as well as my very old Seiko Divers I will be enjoying this for a long time.

"Substantial and impressive with whisper quiet motors...always look twice."
A truly superb case...the Piano Black finish is flawless. The Acrylic curved top does want to attract dust and of course it hides in the corners, but I doubt if there will ever be a fix for that. You will have a tug-of-war getting the watch pillows out, they fit too snugly. But you get use to it and compensate.
Would I purchase another Diplomat? Certainly, if my collection outgrows the available spaces.
