Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 System
I opted to purchase the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 as I found they were the best rated 2.1 speakers for the money.
Overall, sound quality and build quality are fantastic. I purchased mine used, and have used them for several years since. The subwoofer isn't muddy, and the speakers do a fantastic job at reproducing highs and low's.
My one complaint is the speaker controller. Although mine still works flawlessly, I feel that it could have been made more robust. I know at least 3 other people who own the same speakers, and have also thoroughly enjoyed them.

Great router
Tons of features, easy to flash custom firmware (see slickdeals how-to, there's a great video showing all the steps), great value.
