Sweet sixteen

Well, are YOU going to tell your sixteen year old she doesn't get a phone while she is using the loaner flip phone becuse hers is toast?
The S3/Powermat combo is the fix.
The s3 is a really decent phone that can do most (but not all such as IR blast the audio system) things a kid wants. Put a screen protector on it and wrap it in the Powermat cover and you are GOOD 2 GO for $100!
When I got the last pair (well they are not totally indestructible) the screens had been replaced. That means what YOU have to do it you don't have to scrape and air blow that old screen off for three hours. Slide it off in minutes as the glue is only around the edges.
iPhone or not, the PowerMat is awesome and kids love how the magnet sucks it in.
I have owned several iPhones and S3 as well as other less phones and the S3 with original glass is the best. I have several still around the house. We use the old iPhones to steady both kitchen and dining tables, but the S3s are the ones under our chair legs doing the real work.
Why do you want a 600-700 phone when this workhouse will do it for 100?
The S3 does so rock!

Solid Sandal for Water
These work great in boats and really last. The ankle strap is solid so they don't fly off. Watch out for rocks; a pebble in there can be a PITA.
