Quick and easy!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'm a beginner knife sharpener, with very little experience. I bought some natural Arkansas stones to start with and was having troubles with my angles. This little gem (along with the leather strop/abrasive belts) will put a great edge quick. It literally takes more time to change out belts than it does to resharpen. Only hard part is your natural hand mechanics. One hand always seems smoother than the other. I did several practice runs (with machine off) to get the hang of it. I then took some of my dads cheapie knives to test on. He said if I messed them up not to worry. But to my surprise they all cut like a dream now, and only took minutes. Started at 120 grit, then 220, 600, 1000, then the leather belt. Ran all through the same grit belt (assembly line style) before moving to finer grit.
