Microwave leakage tester
The small little device for checking for microwave leakage is very good value for money.
This is a replacement for one due to my original was stolen.
I find this small detector works extremely well and many customers do not realise their microwave is leaking.
The most common cause of microwave leakage is food particles around the door seal.
If I'm carrying out PAT testing I always check the microwave for leakage
I would recommend this microwave detector for anybody involved in electrical testing it just adds another bonus to the customer .if I have tested the electrical appliance and I also check for leakage on the microwave.
So the microwave will have to labels one for the PAT testing and one for the leakage.
The simplest way to test the microwave for leakage is to place a cup of cold water in the microwave switch on high and run the detector around the door at the given distance which is approximately 50 mm away and check the actual leakage Reading.
If you find it's leaking, I use a baby wipe round the door seal to clean any foreign bodies and retest and you normally find after that it's perfectly ok.

Status indication
din rail mounted , gives you a clear indication on the voltage and current without connecting external instruments. The different colours on display to show the voltage and current is a good idea.. pleased with the unit at a very good price and delivery.
