Hornby track supports for an elevated track
Fitting to the track not easy, whether the small or the large supports. These supports are not sufficient on their own to elevate track: the track needs support BETWEEN each support. This is not explained, trains fall off if insufficient support. I experimented with these supports and then rejected them as the track was not reliably supported: particularly with large engines which buckled the track and often fell off.

Virtual Railway DVD
Good value despite being a year 2000 version. I managed to run it on Windows 10 but had to search through various video software packages. Windows 10 managed it and it helped me decide on a layout to fit my board. The virtual trains are good in 3D. Dated but very good value: no postage was charged from UK. There does not seem to be a similar 2016 version, so was lucky to find this 2000 version.

Hornby tunnel portals
Disappointing as they have little brickwork as the sides, so as to connect them to nearby landscape or rocks. Not good value for money, particularly when potage is taken into account. There are better tunnel portals available elsewhere.
