(Rust was mentioned in the ad, and photos offered, but the ones the seller put on eBay were 'beauty shots'--ones with no rust, in other words.) Well packed. Though the seller accepted my offer much below what he was asking, I still feel I might have paid too much. Oh well. Caveat emptor.

Poor communication
I'm not sure exactly how this protection plan works. After purchasing my LCD screen, I haven't recieved any documents that link it to any protection plan. I think they just sell it and leave you to figure it out later.
Kind of a waste of money.

I'm very happy with my EOS R.
This is a great camera. It's taking a little while to get familiar with it but so far, I am very happy with it. I upgraded from a 5D Mk III, and the EOS R is better at everything (and I loved my 5DmIII). The autofocus on this is incredible and after updating the firmware to v1.4.0, the eye detection / face tracking is really good.
