One great NAS!
This is my second Synology NAS for my home network. My first Synology was a DS411, which has served us faithfully for 4 years. The DS916+ is a great step up with a much more powerful processor, HEVC decoding, a fantastic operating system and a great suite of applications to enhance its features. I highly recommend this NAS for rock solid performance for years.

Exactly as pictured and described
All of the parts were identical to the picture and are of high quality. The bag had a greasy/waxy preservative that is probably best washed off before use.

Clear-ly a good choice.
The cover is identical to the photo. It is clear and thin to provide good scratch and ding protection. Not as sturdy as a thicker cover. Howwever, if you still want to keep it in your pocket, this is a good and inexpensive choice.
