WALK-ing with FENTON Art Glass
This Compendium is much more than merely a replacement for The Big Book of Fenton Glass 1940-1970 (softcover) by the same author. Picture backgrounds are modified for easier viewing; many more photos and items, more (and more accurate than Warman's Guide, for instance) historical information blurbs are included, and a table of contents is added for easier reference. The covered period (1940-1970) is prior to Fenton placing logos on or in the glass, so the book is an invaluable identification guide to molds, colors and treatments. Mr Walk also includes a personal point of contact and graciously and personally responds to inquiries with knowledge gained through additional research beyond the scope of the book. As an advanced collector of Fenton Art Glass, this and its fellow (1970-1985, 1985-2001) compendiums are what I reach for to confirm an item, refresh my memory, research a period of production, or pleasurably leaf through to find that next piece of Fenton I'd like to add to my collection. Prices are a guide only, as time since publication and the economy have depressed the value of common pieces while truly uncommon or rare pieces are substantially higher. Errors of description/photo layout placement, ware number typos, missing price values, etc. do appear, but are refreshingly few. You will need to purchase this Compendium, as you won't be permitted to borrow one!! GreenKght and K--Fenton Maineiac highly recommend this publication and thank its author.

Replacing older model same company
Maps were 41 months old, but updated without issue.
Have used product on trips to TX and ME from FL successfully for the most part.
It did put one destination location on the wrong side of street so left/right not always 100%. Unit does place more importance in directional distance and placing destination on the right than net shortest distance applied to exits off major highways.
I liked the 6" screen size as more helpful than my older Tomtom it replaces and the automatic screen rotation is nice feature.
