Beautiful book, wonderful words and drawings
I just bought this copy for grandchildren as my boy had it at 3 or so soon after it was first printed and adored it. It is a wonderful book, beautifully written with proper language carrying the enchantment of the sea when the Little Man and his Pirate Mother in the wheelbarrow reach the sea. The drawing are full the details on the breakfast table for example with pirate teapot, mother with her parrot hair tied up white whisks flying, striped stockings….the little man her son in his brown suit, his boss who said come back in 2 weeks or I will have to buy a computer…It’s magical . My little grandson, tired got very focussed when they got out of town to the green …not interested in the cityscapes but loved the land. The book is pleasing for adult to young. The pages are glossy the colours light filled. There are beds in tees and sky and flowers in the grass. I love it, my son loves it, and the little one is starting.

Workbook, interesting
It’s pertinent if you are getting your own DNA reprogrammed, or thinking of doing it yourself. It’s a workbook essentially.

Nars pigalle, deep and rich “nude”
Nars is a great lipstick, I am deep autumn, pale skin off white shiny pearlescent hair, so need depth of colour with warm/neutral. Surprisingly pigalle looks light in the tube to my eye, but on, it keeps my teeth white, is lighter than I wear normally but is still rich with depth. Not pale not weirdo. It’s flattering, a clever colour
