Not typical Goody quality & can't make pairs
Sealed package, but out of 28 barrettes, I could only get 4 sets with a same-colored barrette opening each direction; one L & one R (8 barrettes). With the other 20 barrettes, each color only opened one direction (for example, all 3 yellow barrettes closed left and all 3 red barrettes closed right). Additionally, when you snap the barrettes closed, the plastic turns white (leaves a white line) at the hinge, and the closure tab seems thinner than usual as well as a bit challenging to close. These are not traditional Goody quality vinyl plastic barrettes. (I have other Goody plastic barrettes which I've had for more than a decade without these issues.) I wonder if these were possibly made from recycled rather than virgin vinyl?

Interesting and Revealing
This book is not for everybody, as parts of it are very tedious, but for those who are curious and interested in the topic, I'd call it a must read of a real exorcism which took place in 1949. Be warned: things get worse before they get better with the child who is possessed. Parts of the story are hard to stomach, when you imagine what the child goes through, as well as what the parents and priests endure. Still, the book is hopeful in that the exorcism is ultimately successful. That said, the detail is amazing and revealing, it's not all horrifying, but at the same time, it is also not sensationalized. I gave it 4 stars on account of the parts of the narrative which seemed mind-numbing with background minutia. Still, overall, the book is very convincing regarding the reality of evil, making it hard to explain away.

Great item, hard to find crew socks in solid colors
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich These .socks are great with Converse high tops & there is a nice variety of colors. I only wish they also made solid color crew socks in primary colors; red, yellow, blue, and green. Very happy with the product overall.
