Addicted to costume jewelry. I love the bling. Rhinestones are my weakness. I used to do repairs but Parkinsons has put an end to that. I still love the unusual and high quality pieces.

Mish-Mash of Previous Books
1 von 3 finden das hilfreich Once again I was sucked in by the hope that King had written something new and original, once again I was wrong. Sigh....This book starts out with promise and then bogs down with old stories and plots from previous books. King just can't escape his familiar surroundings of good old Maine. And then he has to bring up the old chestnut of the spooky clown from "It", the heroic school-teacher, hmmmm, who could that be?
The day by day plodding along of five years that passes could have been edited more judiciously. I found myself wanting to skim pages, but was fearful of missing some hidden plot within a plot.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I came to the end and then the book just ended too quickly and ridiculously.
It's the library for me next time, if there is a next time.

Peaceful & Soothing Sounds
I first heard these sounds on television, believe it or not! I was listening to the " New Age" channel for music while doing some research. Suddenly, I realized I hadn't done any work in about 35 minutes, I was listening to an entire album side by Steven Halpern. That sold me, I wrote down his name, went to eBay and ordered a CD.

Excellent Guide to Depression Glass!
A very nice book with excellent, color photographs. It covers more patterns than most books that I have seen and I have a large collection! It's nice to have the old name and the new name of the glass pattern. Some of the designs are difficult to see, the brightness of the photograph and the lightness of the pattern, this is difficult to capture in any book. The prices are pretty fair, even though the book is older. I don't know anyone, except a rookie, who goes by those anyway. It's great to have a bit of history to go with each pattern, also. This is a nice, fat book with loads of information. Some patterns I had not seen before! All in all, a very nice, informative book that covers a huge amount of material. I am very pleased with my copy. I recommend this book for any collector of depression glass.
