Transmission Belt for PYT9000
Craftsman PYT9000 ride-on mower, 50" cut.
A perfect replacement for the worn transmission belt.
If you replace the cutter deck belt (or anything else down there) then you should be checking this belts condition while you have easy access.
As the old saying goes... A stitch in time saves nine!

Versatile and a quick fix for a leaky head.
Besides the obvious safety factor that this cap offers, it is perfect for a cooling system that is being over pressurized from a leaky head gasket / crack.
If the excess pressure that leak produces, is not vented at the end of the drive, the coolant recovery system cannot work.
Careful (very careful) venting using the lever (and NOT cap removal) does this, and once everything has then cooled down naturally, the system works as it should; drawing the overflow coolant back into the radiator.
And, Yes. Use extreme Caution, always. Hot scalding water takes no prisoners. Don't remove the cap until the system is truly COLD.

Great unit. Reliable counts, meaningful results.
I bought this to replace my 10+ year old RainWise unit after a fire truck ran over it, if it wasn't for that accident it would still be working.
The plastic has stood up well to the Australian weather ( it even stood up reasonably well to the truck, the tipping mechanism was crushed beyond repair while the collector 'popped off' and remains usable. )
Mine is modified to run with a 1-wire counter, but I'll keep the supplied counter as an extra feature.
The large 8" collector area gives confidence that the results are meaningful, and while that large size requires a bit of planning to ensure optimal site location; that is an important requirement regardless of any weather gauge.
If you're serious about your weather station, this will be a good fit.
I honestly can't think of any downside to this gauge, it has truly been a 'set and forget' unit.
