Saved us a fortune

We were quoted £120 each to replace our emergency lighting units. These batteries, a couple of crimp connectors and a couple of minutes work restored them to working order.

Cheap As Chips But May Need Adjustment

It's very basic but very cheap. Mine had been set up incorrectly so its frost setting switched on the heater at 18C - not exactly useful! To fix this, unplug the unit (!), carefully prise out the control knob and, use a cheap small screwdriver to shift the white goo from the inside of the shaft. This reveals the adjustment screw. You can hear the switch point as a click and you can also see the switch contacts through the slots in the casing. Simply turn the adjustment screw till it switches on or off at the temperature you want. I set mine so it switched OFF at my fridge temperature of 4C - so I left the unit in the fridge, turned the outer shaft round to its stop and then turned the adjustment screw till the switch closed. I then backed off the screw till the switch opened. So it now comes on at around 2C and goes off at 4C

Super but read my notes

There's a variety of these. This works on WiFi but the documentation on the disc covers Bluetooth. So connect it with WiFi. But, before you do that, download the Torque Pro app from Google Play Store - it will cost you £3. There is one on the disc but my Moto G wouldn't install it and I'm dubious about the licensing. You need to select WiFi from the adaptor status menu and give the app a while to sort itself out once the engine's running. I found this whilst look for a rev counter. It's cheaper than any rev counter and does much more.
