Works really well
These things worked perfectly to stop a small but annoying leak at the junction of the cold water pipe and a tap fitting in my caravan. But once they are in the pipe, they're tricky to get out again, if you didn't cut the exact right length of pipe! But they are pretty pricey for what they are.
