Galvanized Steel Purple Martin House Pole Telescoping Durable Adjustable Keylock

This pole is a ripoff.

Save your money and do not buy this inferior and worthless product. The "telescoping" pole segments will not slide smoothly inside each other as intended. For example, the interior of the second segment of the pole has a raised seam running inside its entire length. As a result, the third segment binds and sticks. The third segment simply cannot be telescoped in and out of the second segment. Also, the "adjustable keylock" sounds snappy, but in reality it is a poorly designed and cheap method of "locking" a smaller diameter segment of the pole, when extended and in use, inside of the next larger diameter pole segment. With any birdhouse load at all, or even simply when the wind blows without a birdhouse mounted on the pole, one or the other of the three "keylocks" fails, suddenly and jarringly dropping the height of the pole the length of an entire segment. This product is not well designed. The quality of workmanship (particularly the seams running inside the length of each pole segment) is poor at best. I have no intention of using the pole, hence my labeling of the product as "worthless". Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a better pole. This pole is a ripoff.
