It is somewhat smaller than I envisioned it, but is large enough to read easily.
I would have preferred that the light would stay on until I shut it off instead of only about 3-4 seconds. I understand that this would create the possibility of leaving the light on for long periods if forgotten and that could lead to shorter battery life.
All in all, I am happy with this product.
