Dillon RL 550 B Progressive Press (P/N 15166) without conversion

nice progressive

have set up and loaded about 300 rounds of .45 acp so far. it takes awhile to set up, but is making consistent ammo with no faults. I like the manual index. the primer seating is nice too. this press is way better than a lee progressive. my only complaint is the price of the conversion is a little high.

easy to set up and use

set up quickly, about like a reloading press. haven't used the heater yet. it came with a stick of soft moly lube. i prefer hard lube and will try the heater soon. the soft lube is sticky and gets on the base of the bullet. the unit looks to be cast iron and pretty heavy.

used for cnc machining fixture

works good for awhile(500+ X using) then the rivets start to give and accuracy becomes spotty. not very good for production fixture in my situation. would work better with solid pins instead of rivets.
