Works Well and Capable of Surprising Full Sound
Works well. As instructions suggest, try setting TV volume higher than normal, then let ZVOX volume control adjust up and done from there. You can "fine tune" voice enhancement versus fuller sound by playing with both volume controls.

Poorly Designed and Cheaply Made
This dryer is poorly designed and cheaply made. The tubes extend to reach further down into boots, but mine were stuck and would not move. I finally forced them but once extended they are loose and floppy. They don't latch into the extended position. Smaller tubes extend in the opposite direction for drying gloves. Those were really stuck and I had to force them with pliers to extend them the first time. Once extended, the glove tubes are only about 3 inches long so they don't reach far enough into the gloves to blow any air into the fingers. Plus the air outlets for the glove tubes are on the side (not the end), making the airflow even less likely to ever get near the fingers.
With the floppy tubes for the boots, this dryer will work OK for boots that are standing up so that the tubes can dangle down into the boots. The tubes for the gloves are essentially useless.
