AT&T Digital Answering System satellite phone
I have a AT&T digital answering system E5865 that will support up to eight phones. Operates on the 5.8 GHZ band. In this system I was using three phones. One on the base and two satellite phones. The reason I purchased this is that I wanted to add another phone for a different location in my home. I have had the system for several years and enjoy the clarity of sound, ease of use and features. Each phone has it's own address book to store your contacts and friends. Each is customizable and has caller ID with a nice color LCD screen that is easy to read. Some in this series of phones use a plain LCD (greenish background and darker lettering) which is difficult to read. The operating range is very good. When I was looking to buy a digital answering system I wanted one that was easy to read the screens. The color display sold me on this one and I have not regretted buying. This model has now been replaced by a newer version. I was happy to still be able to get this extra add in phone.
