The computer I was waiting for and finally bit the bullet...
Great computer that is now even better with Linux installed....after a bit of tweakage that is.

I am loving my Zotac GTX 1080Ti Mini
This video card works great! Very fast and I am very impressed. It was an excellent replacement for my old 980.It does tend to run a bit hot (low 80s) under heavy load but that is due to the small size. The Mini is an excellent value especially if you have a smaller case and real estate is limited. This Zotac1080Ti Mini is built to run at higher temps but it still makes me nervous. So, when I game I turn on a small 10" room fan that blows into my computer. With that the temps stay in the 50's even under heaviest loads. When I stop being lazy I'll just add another internal case fan to improve flow in my Dell XPS 8920 which should get it to stay in my comfort zone of the 60-70 deg C maximum.
