I bought 2 of these things I believe in this past September for my old dog that since has passed. I got a new puppy in January and didn't put on the 1st collar til April (supposed to good for 8 months). Day before yesterday I noticed a ton of fleas and gave him a flea bath right away. After the bath I put the 2nd collar on him when I noticed it was MADE IN 2017. Now mind you there is no exp date on this collar but experts say it should never be used beyond 5 years of date on product and some say this is too long. Took my dog to the vet today and got him a chewable to swallow cost 90 bucks. The vet told me that Seresto is a good flea collar but it was highly inappropriate to sell a flea collar 6 or 7 years old. She advised buy a new collar it might double the cost but well worth it. BTW I gave my dog that chewable a few hours ago and he hasn't hardly scratched at all.
