Nice part for adapting aftermarket cooler
I bought this based on web report that it could be used to adapt old CoolerMaster V8 CPU cooler (designed for AM3) to AM4 CPU. Apparently my cooler is wider than that guy's since I don't think this part got narrower over time, but I have a plan to make it work. This kit is a nice part, though, with reasonable thickness frame and good plating (could have used a little polishing before plating to be superlative, but up to contemporary standards). The only thing lacking, I think, is no guidance how tight to snug the mounting/turnbuckle screws to properly press the cooler onto the CPU. I expect to find web-guidance when I get to that step.

Love the energel pens. This alloy one replaces a plastic one that developed a little crack in the barrel (where the nose threads in.) Alloy has a nice feel.
