SWITCH IS BUILT BACKWARDS!
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich EXACTLY WHAT IS BAD...is that this replacement solenoid is built backwards compared to the one it is replacing on my furnace. When I installed it in exactly the same way as the original, nothing worked. Furthermore, it set up a loud vibration---which I later figured out was because the IN and OUT ports were switched around.
EXACTLY WHAT IS BAD...is that, once I had turned the switch around and installed it a 2nd time, this replacement switch allowed way too much water to flow through into the humidifier, which water spilled out over the floor.
EXACTLY WHAT IS GOOD...is that, once I turned the switch around, and once I closed the valve on the main waterline to reduce the water flow, it worked fine.
