Actually better than the original!!!
The old remote we had (an official jvc one) had clunky buttons that the gels were hard to press on the right thing. This one is 100x more responsive. It clicks when you’d expect it to and just seems faster to respond! Honestly shocked at how good it is.

Goes through all the motions but doesn’t deliver
Fairly easy to setup, just doesn’t create a very stable or fast network extension. Bit pointless.

What do you expect for £5?
It charges, but it’s certainly not a quick charger. It comes with batteries, but don’t expect them to last very long before needing a charge. It comes with a UK plug, but it’s not a fused safety plug. The sprung clips that hold the batteries are quite flimsy and occasionally a battery pops out of place due to the positioning.
All in all, it does the job.
