Sealing ring for Kenwood Liquidiser Attachment
We have a Kenwood mixer with several attachments dating back to 1971 and they continue to give good service - except that the sealing ring under the glass liquidiser jug had perished. Kenwood do not have stock of these for such an old machine but the ones bought here are absolutely the right thing. Slip it in and it sits perfectly.

Well made but not lightweight
I am in my mid-80s and, although active, not quite as strong and agile as I used to be. I bought this product because we already have the 4-step version but it is too heavy and unwieldy to haul upstairs. The 3-step model is virtually the same construction and only, perhaps, one kilogramme lighter. Once out of the box it is much easier to carry around than its big brother. It is very well made and identical to those selling for almost £40 in other outlets.
For those about to buy their first set of steps, I have one piece of advice:- regardless of the material or height of the step ladder, go for one with the upper hand-hold offset towards the rear (as these are). We inherited a cheaper set of steps with the upper safety rail (not a hand rail) in a straight line with the front legs and it is very uncomfortable to use the top platform step.

Modification potentials
I've seen one report which criticised the use of a metal bridging piece between the two sides but (if you look carefully) there is an offset which produces quite a gap between the bridge and the underside of a hard disk in the event of having an exposed PCB there.
I needed these for adaptation for a computer case where the caddies are no longer available and needed to modify the height of the rails, so I opted for the all-plastic type which were easier for me to work on. This type would have been easier if it had only been a question of placing in a larger tray and securing with pop rivets.
