Don't buy this DVD recorder
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich This Phillips DVD recorder will not record on most cable TV channels...I kept getting an error message stating that "this program is un-recordable"...I tried using several different re-writable brands of DVD-RW's and DVD+RW's all with the same negative results. I have several other DVD recorders and all of them are able to record on every channel in my channel line-up. I previously had a Phillips DVD recorder that had the same identical problem. I would not recommend Phillips DVD recorders to anyone.

Lite On LVC-9016G DVD Recorder / VCR Combo
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich I rate the Lite On LVC-9016G DVD Recorder / VCR Combo as outstandingly execellent. The unit I purchased was refurbished but it looks brand new and performs all of it's finctions flawlessly.
This is an extremely versatile and high quality piece of equipment that can do it all. It can record VHS to Disk or Disk to VHS. It has a built in tuner so you can record from your TV to DVD or VHS. It can also play your MP3 music CD's or you can view your family photos that you have on your data CDR's.
I like this unit so much I have purchased a second one.
In order to connect this unit to your TV, you must use the supplied AV (Audeo Video Cables). This unit will not work on older model TV's that do not have AV (Red White and Yellow Audio Video Cable jacks) on the back of the TV set.
I have transferred over 170 movies from VHS tapes to DVD disks and the unit works perfectly....I highly reccommend this unit. It's a great product and very easy to use with the on screen programing guide.
