one fine movie

one of Gregory Peck's finest movies. His performace as a humble turn of the century priest in china is completly believable. Mr. Peck is only one of several great actors/actress in this character driven drama. This movie spans the life of Father Chisholm from the untimely death of his parents, when he was a young man, to his return to his home town as an old man. Along the way Father Chisholm deals with ignorance and bigotry with great wisdom and charity. Well worth a watch.

Vorlons, Mimbari, Narns and Humans

Whether your new to si-fi, an old hand, or just enjoy a good drama, the Babylon 5 series is well worth a watch. The first season was a great start to a series that only got better. Watching B-5 is like reading a good book, once you start it's very hard to put down and when your done you wish there was more.

live Tom Waits

If you like your Tom Waits down and dirty, this is a CD you might enjoy. All the songs are recorded live and for the most part are well done. I think that the production and mixing suffers a bit on a number of songs, but that is the boon of live recordings. If you;'r a Tom Waits fan this CD is worth a listen
